Welcome to Tsunagari D • 繋がりⒹへようこそ

Hello! Welcome to Tsunagari D. My name is Duncan Brotherton, and I'm a Graphic Designer living in Kansai.

I have made Tsunagari D for two main reasons. Firstly, I want to make a blog in both English and Japanese; I feel it is important that the two languages appear together. Each language entry has support in the other language. For example, the Japanese entries have furigana, for people who can't read Kanji.
The second reason is the creative scene in Kansai, which I want to promote. I plan to blog mainly about events and people in and around Kansai, for people in Japan as well as those overseas.

In Japanese, Tsunagari means connection. Through Tsunagari D I hope to create local connections within Kansai, and greater connections in Japan and the world.

Lastly, you may notice that the English and Japanese entries are not exactly the same. The way I speak both language is different, I can't really help it. You can be assured that the message is the same though. I'm always happy to receive people's impressions of the site. If you have anything you would like to say, please contact me at duncan@oabas.com.

As the Japanese say, yoroshiku onegaishimasu.
