Must Sees

Transnational 2010 @ Osaka Genbi Centre (Jan.25~) (SoHo Gallery)
Celio somehow pulled it together—again!—this year for another totally international exhibition featuring it's own swath of swashbuckling artists brimming with passion and large artworks. Prepare for the fresh, unearthed stuff in this exhibition; there'll be very few "oh yeah, this person." comments going around!

Takehiko Inoue: The LAST Manga Exhibition @ Suntory Museum (Jan.2~Mar.14)
"Goodbye Suntory Museum!" Was what I was expecting to say at the end of last year, however,
I was wrong. end of this year! One more awesome manga exhibition before they pack it up and hand the wonderful building over to the city. Check out Inoue's great original work from titles we all know such as Slam Dunk and Vagabond.

"We Love Books!" International Book Art Picnic @ Nakanoshima Library (Jan.25~30), Itohen (Jan.19~30) & Calo (Jan.19~30)
And they're not joking either. The book is rarely an art medium; but at the following 3 places you can see just how a book can become a piece of art. Click the link above for more information!

Other Recommends
Ryuta Ohtake @ Taro Nasu Osaka (Jan.13~)
Under 100 @ YOD Gallery (Jan.12~) All artworks lower that 100cm!
